Conventional Cementing Plug

The cementing plug is used to separate the cement slurry from the mud. It can prevent the mud from blending into the cement slurry to influece the cementing quality.

There are 2 kinds of cementing plug: conventional cementing plug and Non Rotating Cementing Plug.

Conventional cementing plug is divided into top plug and bottom plug.

Cementing plug is used to isolate cement slurry, clean casing wall and prevent cement slurry pollution. There are top and bottom plug.

After the rubber stopper is in contact with the floating hoop, it can accurately indicate the cement slurry replacement position and casing sealing performance.

The upper and lower rubber plugs are generally used in sets.

The top rubber plug separates the top cement slurry and mud to prevent the cement slurry from being contaminated. At the same time replaces the cement slurry to the annulus.

Its core is aluminum alloy or resin material. The outside is high-quality natural synthetic rubber. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and wear resistance, soft texture, good toughness, and temperature resistance of about 140-160°C (284-320°F);

Another kind of cement plug of polyurethane material, its core is resin material . The exterior is polyurethane material, it is characterized by a hard texture, good wear resistance, good drillability, easy to drill, temperature resistance about 80- 100°C (176-212°F), suitable for shallow wells.

Non Rotating Cement plug can be customized as per user needs.

How to use?

Place bottom plug before injecting cement, and pump the scrape to clean the well-wall. After all is set, build the pressure of 2-4MPa till the rubber diaphragm is broken, and thus circulation is formed. Then inject the cement, place the top plug, pump, set the pressure, and well cementation comes to an end.
